Butterfly Effect Istanbul Project

The Butterfly Effect Project is a social entrepreneurship project implemented by our association in Bayrampaşa in 2015.

This project was based on providing education on “Entrepreneurship, Volunteering, the Proper Use of Social Media and Technology" to young people studying in 13 high schools in the district where our association was established. Aim of this Project was to encourage young people who participated in the training to write projects that can produce solutions to a social problem.

At the end of the project, we conducted 52 training courses in 13 high schools and reached 800 students. This project, which we have implemented with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has created a domino effect as in its name.As a extention  of the project, we thought about whether it could go beyond the borders of Bayrampaşa and beat its wings in different districts of Istanbul.

Lucky us, last year we thought in order to bring the butterflies in our own saddlebag together with high school students in 13 districts of Istanbul, Gaziosmanpaşa, Eyüp, Fatih, Esenler, Beyoğlu, Kağıthane, Sultangazi, Bayrampaşa, Zeytinburnu, Küçükçekmece, Güngören, Bağcılar and Başakşehir districts. With our teammates we conducted trainings and reached 70,000 students. We tried to make a difference in the lives of young people and to instill the idea of Project producing  into their lives.
